J.K. Rowling first thought of Harry while riding a train back in 1990. "Harry just strolled into my head fully formed."
She worked on the book for several years, finding quiet moments while her daughter slept. Several publishers turned down the
finished manuscript before one took interest. Harry Potter's magic has since touched a huge audience of all ages all over
the world. In America alone there are over 100 million books in print, and each title has been No.1 on bestseller lists. This
site lists, in cronological order, all seven of the Harry Potter books with a short review; with all of the books on
sale at Amazon.com. There is also details of all of the Harry potter DVDs currently available. We have also added details
of a number of other books about Harry Potter and associated subjects.

the murderous attacks of the feared dark wizard Voldemort three times. But his hopes for a quiet term concentrating on playing

from Azkaban prison; pursued by the soul-sucking Dementors who guard the prison. It's assumed that Hogwarts castle is the

Professor Trelawney's ghoulish predictions seriously? Who is a friend and who is a foe?

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The fourth
book in the series. It is the summer holidays, and one night Harry Potter wakes up with his scar burning. He has had a strange dream, one that he can't
help worrying about … until a timely invitation from Ron Weasley arrives - to nothing less than the Quidditch World
Cup. Soon Harry is reunited with Ron and Hermione and gasping at the thrills of
an international Quidditch match. But then the Quidditch World Cup is disrupted by Voldemort’s rampaging supporters
and the terrifying Dark Mark is resurrected, it is obvious to Harry that,
far from failing, Voldemort is getting stronger. The ultimate symbol to the magic world of the evil Lord’s return would
be if the one and only survivor of his death curse, Harry Potter, could finally
be beaten. Then someone frames Harry to compete in a dangerous interschool wizarding competition meant
for far more mature students — he knows that rather than win it, he just has to get through the trials alive. And
just when he thought being 14 couldn’t get any worse — he has to attend a dance, and invite a girl!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry is about to start his fifth
year at Hogwarts school of wizadry, where danger lurks at every corner. He is desperate to get back to school and find out
why his best friends Ron and Hermione have been so secretive all summer. But before he even gets
to school, Harry has an unexpected and frightening encounter with two Dementors, has to face a court hearing
at the Ministry of Magic and has been escorted on a night-time broomstick ride to the secret headquarters of a mysterious
group called 'The Order of the Phoenix'. And that is just the start.
When Harry
eventually arrives at Hogwarts he makes a discovery that will turn his whole world upside down. Professor Dumbledore lowered
his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses. 'It is time,' he said, 'for me to tell you what
I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.' …

is about to change ...
After five years of thrills and adventure, Harry Potter’s life is taking a new path —
straight to a fight against Lord Voldemort. But first Harry and Professor Dumbledore must try to find out as much as they

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
The seventh
and final book of the series. It all comes down to basics - the final faceoff between good and evil. Harry
plans to pull out all the stops, but every time he solves one mystery, three more evolve. Should he stay the
course he started, despite his seemingly lack of progress? Should he detour and follow a new lead that
may not help? Do should he listen to his instincts, or to his friends?
Lord Voldemort is preparing for battle and so must Harry. With Ron and Hermione at his side, he's
trying to hunt down Voldemort's Horcruxes, escaping danger at every turn, and find a way to defeat evil once and for all.
How does it all end?
